Halfway through winter break...

Winter break is halfway through (yay!) and has been just as interesting as I'd expect it to be. We've had a few startling-awake incidents with Kevin, some progress in getting the kitten to poop in the right place, and a whole lot of dragging Laurel out when the weather wasn't too cold

I love thrift stores, too. I'll have to get a list of the best ones from you next time I'm up in the area!

What kind of stuff do you look for in thrift stores? I mostly look for clothing and books, but I know one place that has a lot of furniture and I have a friend that acquires some of the vintage and used designer clothes she sells at thrift stores. (Her store is up on Preston just south of the Turnpike.) If you like vintage clothing without the designer pedigree, there's a vintage clothing store in Plano but the store is packed like sardines and makes me feel claustrophobic.
