We had some errands to run today - so as we hadn't been out of the house in a while - I picked a location for said errand that would allow us to do a bit of driving and sight seeing and still hit the other places we wanted to go ( Read more... )

I'm impressed! Usually when Canadian Tire has things on sale they only have three or four in stock and everyone else gets a raincheck.

whenever we go to visit our daughter-in-law's family in Rochester, NY (usually around Xmas), we see a Tim Horton's listed as the food concession in one of the rest stops along I-90. but we're always in a screaming hurry, with no time to stop.

i note that there are a few Tim's in NYC. specifically, there's one in Penn Station - and there's also a Krispy Kreme in Penn Station. the next time i have enough money for a train into the city, i can comparison-shop the two kinds of doughnuts ;-D

yeah Tim's has made a pretty good inroad into the U.S. Markets especially in New York State - oddly enough *grins* the first one was in Buffalo

I love Canadian Tire. I have signed up for their email flyers. Their good deals are AWESOME. As you know. :)

Oh, and we call it Ukrainian Tire. Because things are organized in a way that only the Ukrainians can understand. (Why yes, I am a prairie girl!)
