Can't live with 'em -- can't live without 'em! I have a Volkswagen and just recently I had the replacement of the timing belt priced out by one of the local garages here in Cambridge. A month ago I was quoted $550 to do the job - including replacing the water pump since they'd have the front of the engine off anyway ( Read more... )

Even with Friday off the weekend seems to have flown by. I did have a chance to read some nice gay fiction and watch a couple of movies. I watched "The Edge of Seventeen" which was actually not too bad. The acting during the first 10-12 minutes was very stilted then everyone settled in and made a good movie.
