So apparently Michelle Borth, the actress who plays Catherine on H5O, is involved in some sort of twitter war with people who may or may not be fans of hers or the show. Not that I care. Hm. Have you seen what the strangers said to her?

I remember a couple of years ago something similar happened with one of the stars of Stargate Universe. Readers only saw his side of the conversations and he was viewed as a bully. It turned out that the "random strangers" he was responding to angrily were people sending him DMs threatening him and his family due to his role on the show. Some truly, truly terrible things were said that triggered it. This is in fact a big pastime of certain people on Twitter, and when it comes to actresses the words get really sexually violent.

It might be worth checking to see what was said by the other parties in the kerfuffle before hating on her. I read her Twitter feed and, well, it looked like someone who had been fielding a lot of personal attacks and snapped. (Which is, of course, EXACTLY what the nasty trolls are trying to make happen.)

I haven't no. It's hard to tell on the internet what's true and what's not, so I'm judging purely on what I've seen from Michelle Borth herself. As a person, she may very well be justified in her reaction - god knows I wouldn't want to have to deal with fans of the trollish variety
