My goodness, Moody would indeed have a heart attack, posting his letter out there for all to see!

I acquired the roll of fabric for the Dementor costumes today, and there is enough for six million billion of them. Poor Sirius.... don't worry, though, Moony will protect him! *protective werewolf face*

Oh dear, my handwriting is far too girlie for Moody, isn't it? At least it's legible - a departure from my medical training ;-)

LIVE HARRY POTTER ROLEPLAYING EVENT??? WHAT?!? I am so, so jealous! (I'm also jealous of your hair. You have lovely hair.) It looks really intense, too.

What's that piece of fanart that's on the invitation? (It is fanart, right?) I feel like I've seen it before.

...And by the way, what exactly do you DO at a live roleplaying event?

The Blackberry is very nice, too. O: I recently got a new phone and it does EVERYTHING...it's like I don't even need my computer anymore. Except of course I love my computer. (:

The fanart is this lovely piece by Azmin on Deviantart - I shamelessly used fanart through the whole booklet, although I did credit it all *blushes*

A live roleplaying event is kind of like a murder mystery party - you play a character for the whole evening (in this case it's HP characters, and we're taking the rather unusual step of allowing cross-gender characters as there aren't so many good female parts) and there's a storyline, run by the 'ref', whereby things happen and you have to deal with them. It's all done in costume, with props (says I, covered in paint at 2am - not that we're frantically prop-making or anything) and it is very much fun!

I know! It's very exciting. I've only ever been to one lrp before and that was with forest_rose, she leads a much more exciting life than I do!

Yes, the fanart is one of my favourites, I've got it on my DA list of favourites, but I'm at work and can't get the link to it right now!

Yes! That's how I feel, my poor computer! But then when I do use my computer instead of my phone I think 'ooh, everything is so easy with this big screen!'

Arrested Development is so amazing!! I spend half my life quoting it. Agh I just got rid of all my AD icons when I lost the extra ones T_T Oh well. Lovely pics as usual ksjdkgjh I will never stop thinking you are the cutest thing ever!

I know! I love it so much, I saw a couple of episodes and bought the boxset. I don't think it's really had an airing over here, if it has I missed it by epic proportions.

Harry Potter live role play event on Saturday You, m'friend, have most likely the awesomest day-to-day life. MAN! I always wonder where people find friends who actually LIKE Harry P to the same extent as you/me/we do. Personally, I have found out that this is very much impossible without somehow making a NICE big juicy ass out of myself. And even if I do find the occasional HP deovtee, they refuse to ship or talk fandom -- so I've been trying to TRICK people into fandom. So far the record goes: People tricked into fandom: 0 - People, upon being told fandom exist, making fun in a loud and colourful manner: 2837463847. DAMN MY CUNNING YET STUPID PLANS. DAMN THEM GOOD.

Also! I need to say that your sunglasses are the best best best ones in the history of a very long time now. WHERE DO THEY COME FROM :O

Don't be downhearted, derryere, my dearest! forest_rose was a fandom friend from here on lj who just happened to live in the next city :D :D :D, so now she's a rl friend too. I wouldn't have met her if I hadn't posted a picture to remusxsirius one day last year! I swear I'm in exactly the same boat! I wish the world wasn't so big and we could all hang out and dress up in cloaks together :(. I've managed to convert three friends to HP, they they do little more than read the books and watch the films...definitely no shipping and no fandom discussions going on ;__;! I dragged one friend to the DH release party, but she refused to dress up and I stood there dressed like this:

Thank you! I always think that about you and Andy when I see photos of you together :). I think we have a similar height difference thang going on! Also, he'll be very pleased you said that, he hates having his picture taken.
