2) I had a lovely day last Wednesday when I met up with forest_rose. We drank fancy tea and talked endlessly and she bought me a gorgeous quill and helped me choose material for a cloak...

Don't be downhearted, derryere, my dearest! forest_rose was a fandom friend from here on lj who just happened to live in the next city :D :D :D, so now she's a rl friend too. I wouldn't have met her if I hadn't posted a picture to remusxsirius one day last year! I swear I'm in exactly the same boat! I wish the world wasn't so big and we could all hang out and dress up in cloaks together :(. I've managed to convert three friends to HP, they they do little more than read the books and watch the films...definitely no shipping and no fandom discussions going on ;__;! I dragged one friend to the DH release party, but she refused to dress up and I stood there dressed like this:



(I do believe in legs, I do, I do! Also that jumper does not fit me anymore, must lose weight to wear it again!)

Although Jim is very good and dresses up with me (he's going to be Arthur Weasley at the roleplay!) and discusses things like "did Snape go to Lily's funeral? Did he skulk about outside the church on her wedding day?"

My sunglasses were a present for my birthday this year from Jenny in the pictures above. I believe they were from New Look. They are nothing, nothing, compared to your fine collection!
