Summary: Persistence and hard work is a motto he both respected and follow. Except when the one after him abuses those very things.

-

"I'm having a race with Time but because of you, I'm lagging behind and watching Time surpass me a mile a second."

"Are you saying I'm holding you back?"

"And here I thought you wouldn't grasp the idea." Sungmin returned, lifting two overweighed bags as he walked through the crossed hay in his dark, abused boots.

The man behind him wore polished and recently scuffed leather shoes, professional slacks and a rolled up dress shirt. Struggling to follow after him through the thick and musky heat that congested within the stables.

"Fine then. Since I'm holding you back," Kibum stood in front of the man who rolled his eyes. "Just spare a minute or two."

Sungmin tried to walk to his right but Kibum blocked him. "You are aware I can pin you down?"

Kibum, rather than seeming put off, was almost excited by the prospect. At his brief silence, Sungmin walked around him. Kibum followed after him.

"It could be a potential money maker for both of us, can't you see? If you let your ranch work with us, we can make a whole tour based on this and-"

"Why are you so persistent?" Sungmin asked with his arms crossed. The travel agent stopped as he nearly bumped into him, now standing beneath the cooler blue skies.

"Because..." Kibum stated. Sungmin raised his eyebrows, the light breeze brushing over them as he waited for a proper answer. Kibum shifted his eyes. "Simply because I think it's a good idea. Is that not enough?"

Sungmin blinked, but shook his head instead as he continued to work. Kibum couldn't help but watch the man lift up the objects, his toned arms showed from his white T-shirt. It wasn't a difficult sight to behold.

"And what does Mr. Attractive think he'll get from here?" Sungmin asked idly, shifting the materials.

Kibum smiled slyly, "You think I'm attractive?"

Sungmin huffed, instantly regretting his term. "Not the point."

"It can be the point."

Sungmin sighed, ignoring his playful tone. "Look, it's useless attempting. No city people will willingly come and enjoy the farm life, it's not as glamorous as they'd think."

"Maybe you're right," Kibum agreed. "But we should still discuss it at least."

Sungmin threw off his gloves to the ground. "Fine. When?"

"Possibly over dinner, or coffee. Maybe a few glasses of wine-Oof!"

Sungmin rammed a bag of fertilizer to his stomach, stalking off as Kibum rolled over the ground, groaning in pain.

-

"I thought you said this was a lost cause." Yesung stated, covering his eyes from the harsh sun. "That it's a boring trip that no one sane would make."

"What are you talking about? I'm incredibly interested." Kibum said, his eyes held a certain intensity Yesung wasn't used to.

"How-" Yesung followed his gaze and noted the man who left the wooden stable. Kibum winced in pain as his co-worker rammed his foot to his shin. "I KNEW IT! You weren't working at all."

"Yes, I was." Yesung gave a skeptical look. "Okay, I was at first."

Yesung sighed in blatant annoyance. It was unbearably hot, he drove two hours to nowhere and was now faced with a useless co-worker. "At least give me that water."

"Not a chance."

Kibum wished he could inform the other just how much work he was putting in though. Sungmin was easily one of the most stubborn individuals he ever had the decency to meet.

"He's still here."

Sungmin looked back at his co-worker who studied the pair off in the distance. Sungmin said nothing when his co-worker gave him a knowing look.

"When are you going to agree to a date with the guy already?"

"When did I say I was going to agree?" Sungmin asked directly, his co-worker shrugged, yet he leered at that expression that suggested something.

Instead of following his direction, Sungmin looked back at the pair who stood behind the fence.

Yesung waved as Sungmin strode towards them. Kibum crossed his arms over the fence that stood between them. Kibum said idly, "If it's that hot, you could take off your jacket."

Sungmin glowered. "While I may consider that offer, I'd rather not have your eyes on me."

Kibum handed him the bottle of water that he had been holding for most of the afternoon. Sungmin handed it back. "Drink it first."

"You don't trust me?"

"Obviously." Yesung said, Sungmin chuckled.

It was only when Kibum took a sip did Sungmin reluctantly drank from the bottle, giving a soft murmur of "thanks" beforehand. Yesung shook his head and walked towards his car as Kibum hurriedly hopped over the fence.

Sungmin headed towards the horse as Kibum called out his name.

"Look, dating a travel agent has its benefits. I can get you the best stuff, the best hotels and we can go just about everywhere. I can give you the world almost!"

"I don't need the world, I like it here."

"That's fine with me too-"

The horse kicked up its legs and Kibum dodged, running as he nearly shove Sungmin to the ground, his arms tightly around his neck.

"I'm scared." Kibum insisted.

Sungmin lowered his eyes, seeing as how the horse had long taken off and it had been a good ten minutes now. Kibum continued to hold on. Sungmin wanted to laugh, but hid back his smile and scowled. "You cannot be that afraid."

"And if I am?"

Sungmin mused that thought, he lowered his eyes however as he felt the other's hands reaching places they shouldn't be reaching.

Kibum landed with a hard 'ooof!' as he was swung over backwards onto the ground. Sungmin positioned himself over his body, narrowing his eyes as he pinned him down. "You never stop. Does it ever tire you that I can handle you with ease?"

"I enjoy being handled."

His comment made Sungmin pause slightly, he tilted his head. "Hmm." Sungmin hummed.

Kibum felt his chest pound as Sungmin leaned in closer, he almost closed as his eyes as the other was only millimeters away from his own lips.

"Teasing you is fun." Sungmin realized, getting off him.

Kibum laid there, realizing what just happened, instantly downcasted. Sungmin laughed inwardly, watching as Kibum huff repeatedly in frustration as he chased after him. His hand reached his broad shoulder,

"Look, I-"

Kibum was silenced as the other coated his lips, softly and slowly, until the worker pulled away. Kibum stood there, stunned as Sungmin walked off the grounds.

The co-worker arched an eyebrow questionably at Sungmin's high spirits and triumphant smile.

"Finally,"

"What?" His co-worker asked.

Sungmin smirked. "He's speechless."
