When I was little, I used to ask, "Why do we celebrate Christmas if we're Jewish?" and my parents had a great answer about how Christmas wasn't just a religious holiday, but was also a secular holiday, and that's how we were celebrating it, because they didn't want to deprive us of that part of it. My mom was brought up Christian, and that's a bit of it, but my Jewish Dad also did Christmas growing up, so there you go.
Christmas - as a secular holiday - is probably my favorite holiday of the year. :)
