I like rice a lot. The rice I use most is brown rice from a whole food shop - not the sort of par-cooked brown rice that's available in supermarkets. With the oppressive heat lately, I haven't felt much like cooking; particularly, I've felt too hot and bothered to boil rice for 45 minutes. I'm on a diet where I can eat as much rice as I want to,

Rice cookers don't know the difference between white and brown rice AFAIK. (My rice-cooker is COLOR-BLIND!!!111)

You put a whole bag of rice in it (the kind of bag that weighs like a pound or two I think, it makes 8 cups total), enough water, and turn the thing on and the light goes from yellow to red or whatever and it's done. No worries!
