Yesterday was quite good. I met up with doubtfulace in the West End and we hung out at Cafe Revive inside Marks & Spencer's. We were only 1 floor away from the bra section, so I thought I'd take the opportunity of having a supportive friend with me to go and see if I could find the right bra.

Have you looked into Bravissimo? They really are very good (if rather expensive!) My friend S looks at the styles that they have there and buys them from One Stop Bra Shop which is very cheap!

It sounds as though you're doing really very very well with your sensible eating. Well done!

Oh - i read through my last comment to you and i realised that actually it didn't sound very nice. I'm sorry if it came across that way to you :(

They don't do my size (42DD). Their biggest back size is 40.

Oh poo.

If you keep checking the Bra Stop online shop they change what they have in stock - they do go up to your size, but don't always have a lot in that size (or mine for that matter, as i'm an E cup). They have a shop in London Victoria and Bakerloo stations.

I wouldn't be able to cope with keeping on checking bra sites. I have two bras that fit me now, don't have to worry about it for another 6 months-1 year.

M&S does me fine, though I might get a particular sports bra that a genderqueer friend of mine has from the states.

Your other comment was fine btw.

I've always found M&S really good and helpful too. I've heard the staff are trained to be aware of gender identity issues, which is a very good thing if it's true.

It looks like Title Nine has at least one in your size, although I don't know how comfortable it would be. They don't have any in mine, btw.

I am totally jealous because I have to order all my bras from the UK and Bravissimo just discontinued the main one.

yep, the Title9 Frogbra alone or with a compression vest or shirt from Underworks.com is the way that a lot of guys here go. Both are very good products. The only thing with compression shirts is that if you're wearing one during strenuous exercise, just stay aware of your breathing and remember to take deep breaths. (And some people say not to use them at all when exercising 'cause of the shallow breathing.)

Ooh, the Frog Bra looks good.I am thinking really hard about binding whilst exercising, but aqua aerobics is so bouncy - don't think I could handle it again without something to hold those things down. Thing with my weight is that aqua aerobics is ideal for giving me a thorough workout whilst being very supportive of my body. I could always try it whilst binding and see, would happily leave if it was starting to kill* me.

*Hyperbole.

I've been thinking of getting this bra for a while now, probably will. Thanks for the link.

I'm just wondering if it was a deliberate pun that you took a "supportive friend" to go bra-shopping.
