On Sunday, I didn't do much in the early afternoon, because I had an incident with my dryer. No, it didn't eat my underwear laundry, but I was a klutz and forgot to actually push the start lever. ^^;;; I was wondering why the dryer was so quiet, too...

In the late afternoon, I went on a bus journey to the University of Washington to meet noselfRead more... )

No, bus drivers really should know the other routes--or at least not give you advice if they don't.

Also, I got screwed by an hourly bus yesterday too (although part of it was my own fault, I waited for more of them than I needed to).

Welcome to American trasnportation. :P I've never actually taken the bus, but my brothers and other people I know have, and they all have their share of experiences like this to tell.

I also didn't know that premarital sex results in a field. :P

In Boston, it's a toss-up whether your bus driver knows the other routes or not. Which really sucks. Most of the time I try to be helpful to other passengers if I see them confused, since I know the subway and bus routes really well by now.

You know, my brother actually established a stereotype of the people that take buses here in PR. He says that he always sees the same kind of people: the old lady that won't shot up, the girl with dark curly hair listening to an mp3, the rocker wannabe that's sleeping or falling asleep, the guy that stinks because he is obvously a homeless man, etc. I keep telling him that it can't be true and he insists that if one day I get on a bus with him, he'll show me. :p
