This week has been really busy and hectic in terms of work. I've been working pretty much almost every day until 9 pm or later (I got home tonight about an hour ago), dealing with test automation (fixing automation, and writing new automation), investigating bugs and test failures, building source code (and dealing with the failures) and learning ( Read more... )

I accidentally BCCed a large mailing list when replying to an email someone had sent answering my question.

Can you say "prepare to be flamed"? :P

At least I learned my lesson though, and some of the non-flaming replies were actually helpful in terms of what I could do to avoid spamming the list other than by BCCing it.

I sang White Rabbit tonight (after being primed with some drinks and food ^^;;;; ) at our monthly Karaoke @ Microsoft social event (it was at a dive bar in Kirkland this time :P) and it actually went off pretty well - the original was sung in a female voice, so I obviously couldn't match it, but I tried my best and it was pretty good. I got my first-ever tax return W-2 form in the mail today. ^^;; It looks really complex right now but fortunately as part of my relocation package I get one free consultation with a tax professional. Now I just need to remember how to do it. :P ( Read more... )
