We went to Tyrella beach yesterday, and I remembered that it is practically within spitting distance of Ballynoe Stone Circle, County Down's rather modest answer to Stonehenge and Avebury.

Those are lovely. I've been obsessed by Avebury for years. When I lived in London I wen to visit them often.

I haven't been to Tyrella beach in nearly 40 years. Thanks for the reminder. I remember it used to have a large radar dish for the nearby RAF base, which is gone now.
