Ballynoe Stone Circle

We went to Tyrella beach yesterday, and I remembered that it is practically within spitting distance of Ballynoe Stone Circle, County Down's rather modest answer to Stonehenge and Avebury.

Lovely photos, especially the first one with the mountains in the distance.

The last time I was down that way for a hill walk, a wrong turning led to the unexpected discovery of Wateresk Dolmen. I haven't been to Ballynoe in years, have to change that.
