Oh lord, sympathy. To both punctures, so to speak. I can't imagine the vasectomy process is much fun - both my partner's brothers-in-law have both had them, and at one point it was an animated discussion topic at family gatherings, complete with mimed recreations of the procedure. I hope Dr Who proves consoling.

My only regret about getting snipped is that my op was postponed for a few weeks on account of the surgeon spraining his thumb while skiing. This caused me to miss a couple of rugby games when I had originally planned for the op to be off season.

Ouch on both counts, and empathetic ouch on the first, as that's exactly what I did. Olives, nice but dangerous. Hope your crown fits rather better than mine did...

Interesting...my employer (a Catholic hospital) doesn't do any sterlization procedures. The docs do recommend condoms and prescribe contraceptives.
