I am NumbersGuy, so when I see a statistic quoted, I question it. Sometimes, the statistic is so ludicrous that I can't help myself. For some reason I was thinking about the discovery that thirty thousand years ago (or was it 40,000) Homo Sapiens began to spread out of Africa. The species had survived in Africa for over a million years. Connections
Spiders, like societies, spin a useful fabric from a web of connections. Spiders' behavior is largely instinctual, and the individuals in society may be driven largely by instinct as well. We humans would like to think that we can study our connections and the effects that they create. We believe that we can learn to modify our behaviors.
