What a waste of scientific progress. I kept having to stuff all my notes into the cracks to keep them blocked, and that... stuff kept eating them. I suppose it's better than the alternative, though.

Things seem so quiet now... I mean, Miyako's birthday was fun, and Valentine's day was fun. Finding a new room in a hurry wasn't fun, but it was distracting. Now everything seems to have calmed down. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

...Well, I'm not going to be using that leg again for a few days. I just barely managed to get out of the way. Another scar for my collection, I suppose...

So the new year begins. I've realized, I've been here nearly two years, now. Much longer than I expected, really. Longer than most of the people here. font size="1">Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever actually get back home...

Well, it took a few tries to get the voltage right (it's really very difficult to calibrate something as slapdash as this) but I've finally got a functioning set of Christmas lights! Earthquakes... of all things! I had all my things neatly organized, and they all fell on the floor, and I was forced to spend my day putting everything back where it belongs. I still haven't figured out where my other screwdriver rolled off to, and I'll probably be finding ball bearings in odd places until this time next year.

So Ryou won his duel against Kaiba, God Card and all. I must say I'm impressed, but I can't say I'm particularly surprised. If there was ever anyone I would have guessed could stand up to Kaiba, it would be Marufuji Ryou. All the same, it's not the kind of news you hear every day...
