Well, it took a few tries to get the voltage right (it's really very difficult to calibrate something as slapdash as this) but I've finally got a functioning set of Christmas lights! And not only do they look nice, but they smell good, too, though not precisely what one associates with Christmas. I suppose it can't be helped. Pity they won't last very long...

I don't suppose anyone else would like some temporary lighting for the holidays?
