I was working in my workshop on a customer order last night. Decided that I needed Jenifer's second opinion on some measurements... Walked upstairs, didn't see her at the video-games, then went upstairs to the bedroom and that's when I remembered: She's gone.
Didn't finish the order don't know if/when I'm going to pick it back up again. -

Just scored a pile of books on Pre-WW2 and WW2 battleships including a book on Turboelectric Drive operation (The Standard Type battleship had that) and a manual on the proper operation of the Mk1A Fire Control Computer. This was a cranky flaky electromechanical system for computing all the numbers required to aim and fire The Big Guns aboard ( Read more... ) -

She made me sit through an epic Harry Potter Marathon. I am now "up to date" with the franchise.
That said, them damn Wizards put the Jedi to shame when it comes to knock-down-drag-out Good Vs Evil fights.
