Just got the call from out West a little while ago. The sizable tumor they removed from my sister's thyroid yesterday turned out to be benign.

I'm not a particularly religious person. If you're out there, though, thank you. I cannot even begin to imagine my life without her.

Damn, I still can't get over it. There was a actual debate on TV last night between two highly intelligent individuals with opposing viewpoints. It was such an unexpected change from the presidential debate where I actually fell asleep.
