oh that snake story just killed me! Captain must be traumatized!
That's as good as our Galveston story, where we were at one of the canals, and Alexia was standing at the edge and Carol, her mom, accidently bumped her and pushed her in!
I can just here it now - "My mom threw a snake at me."
thanks for the sweet things you said, yesterday sucked.

Tell me about it. I can't wait to hear what he tells the kids at school. I know most of the moms of the kids in his class and, since he's such a Chatty Cathy, this stuff always gets back to me. I'm going to be explaining this one for a while.
Sorry that yesterday was so awful. Hopefully, it wasn't anything too bad. I meant what I said. You are usually way too hard on yourself. If it's work-related, just remember what my sis said about crap always flowing downhill...
Take care of yourself.
BTW, I was serious about the mixer. I was about to send a couple of things your way anyway. Let me know if you want me to pop it in the box. (It's an old Black & Decker 3-speed that I never use - very small.)
Yikes! That story scared me. I'm surprised to hear that the snake hissed back - I thought garder snakes were very calm. Well, prodding probably doesn't help.
I love that poem, too. I sang a song of it in chorus when I was younger, but I can't remember the composer. Lovely.
