I had my meeting with the Civic Center Sales Director today. It went fantastic! The center seems almost designed for our use. It has a large ball room, two smaller ballrooms, 6 meetings rooms, a special events room and board room setup. Well Thanksgiving was a success. I got to spend it with my Killeen Family with a large Thanksgiving meal. We have two birds, 15 lbs of potatoes, about 8 pies, deviled eggs, etc, etc. I tried some older recipes on the bird. My second update in just a few hours. *smile* Maybe this thing is worth it! As for why...last night was our first Requiem style game. It was only Soft RP mind you, but it was fun.
