I have depression. I have dealt with it in varying degrees since I was diagnosed in 1999. I suspect I began having depressed episodes in 1995/6. Thanks so much for all the answers to my first round of questions. Please don't anybody think they've been negative or put me off or made it sound gross. I'd much rather hear other people's stories which are honest about hating parts of pregnancy or being ill or whatever. I feel a lot more reassured about pooping in labour now though!

So as well as finally learning to drive, I've got other important grown up stuff coming up. Provided I'm stable on my new meds, I'll have my iud taken out in six months. Crazy. My baby/pregnancy questions are coming shortly.

I drove a car. A manual (because that's the default here), I used the clutch, I changed gears, I scraped the kerb, but hey.

I really cannot cope with Dave's mother coming to stay with us every fortnight. It's just one night, but suddenly my house is not my own, it throws the rest of the weekend out and on Fridays I reserve the right to sit on my sofa in cotton knickers and a vest and watch streamed espisodes of The Wire or The Walking Dead or other programmes that have ( Read more... )

Oh, I have hypermobility in some of my joints. Ankles, knees, toes, fingers, shoulders. This is a large cause of my foot, ankle and knee pain. It also explains why I trip a lot as my joints aren't stable. So that was interesting and explains why I can bend my feet in sch weird ways and why my joints crack ALL THE TIME.
