I've spent the last several minutes just watching the silliest shit on YouTube. Like...I-was-laughing-so-hard-I-almost-threw-up silly. Good times

Your entire insect/human/B&N thing? It got the most LOLs from me than anything in my life in the last few weeks. So thanks for that.
I'm with you on the reunion thing. I'm going through the same thing, and I probably won't be going. The only reason I'd go is to see what everyone is up to, and that's what Facebook is for. Not that I care for these people that I've lost touch with, I'm just nosy.
That being said, there are a select few that I've had some recent laughs with over FB. Those few happen to reside in the Chicago area, and the Chicago area happens to be only 3 hours from me. So ya know, I'd be willing to hang out with them if I'm ever there, which we've talked about.
Yeah, I remember getting harassed a whole bunch about my 10 year class reunion, too. I wasn't on Facebook at that point, but they were able to track me down through classmates.com and MySpace. You wanna know something stupid? I graduated in '97... but our 10 year reunion was in 2008. Apparently, math was not one of our stronger subjects at ol' Northwest High School. ;p
( ... )
I added you; I just never spend any time at FB. Back when I reviewed movies all the time, yes. But nowadays..I change my status once a day and that's about it.
Oh yeah...if my reunion involved TRAVELING, it'd be a 100% pre-determined no.
sounds like similar scenarios when i worked at borders. bookstores always seem to acquire the strangest of strange... comes with the territory i guess.
A useless degree gosh, i'm still in school to get a degree and i'm going to turn 26 this year.. so you are way ahead of me in that department.
high school reunions these days have no significant meaning to many people.. mine won't be coming for another couple years but many people i know now, don't even bother going because there would be no reason to... but ask someone who graduated decades ago... it might have been different.. heh. probably not.
yeah, i went off tangent here... i wasn't sure where i was getting at.
Doug sounds like this guy who preys at my local Barnes and Noble. THERE WAS A NEWSPAPER STORY ABOUT HIM. About how he goes there every day from open to close and just treats the story as his own personal library. I think it was an OP ED piece. Anyway, turns out this old guy was one of my friend's grandfather. Good times.
I don't blame you about the reunion thing. High School sucked, but it was never horrible for me. Never as bad as Middle School anyway. I can't imagine a scenario in which I would go back and see all the dbags from back then. You are not a failure though, so don't say that. You are a great person, and funny, and intelligent. So shut up. Okay...enough of that.
