I've spent the last several minutes just watching the silliest shit on YouTube. Like...I-was-laughing-so-hard-I-almost-threw-up silly. Good times

Yeah, I remember getting harassed a whole bunch about my 10 year class reunion, too. I wasn't on Facebook at that point, but they were able to track me down through classmates.com and MySpace. You wanna know something stupid? I graduated in '97... but our 10 year reunion was in 2008. Apparently, math was not one of our stronger subjects at ol' Northwest High School. ;p
Anyway, I didn't go to the reunion. I couldn't justify spending $400+ on a flight back to Ohio to see people that I don't really talk to. However, a few friends of mine *did* go, and they took lots of pictures. It was almost like I was there. Surprisingly, the people that I *did* like from high school actually went to the reunion, whereas most of the I didn't like never showed up. Now I kinda wish I *had* gone. Figures. :p
Hey, guess what? So, you know I'm getting divorced, right? Well, anyway, I'm trying to get a 2nd job to save up some more money for the big move to Texas. And guess where I've been applying again? Yup, Barnes & Noble and Borders. (I don't know if you remember, but back when I added you, I mentioned that I worked for Borders and Barnes & Noble for a total of 11 years.) I would prefer to work for B&N, but there's a Borders about 5 minutes away from where I live. The nearest B&N is like 20-25 minutes away. Whatever the case, I hope I get hired at one of the chains. If I *have* to work retail as my 2nd job, I'd rather it be at a bookstore, as opposed to some clothing store, etc.
And if I'm DAMN lucky, I'll get back into the receiving department. (I was the receiving manager at my last B&N job.) However, I'm an awesome fiction lead/history lead, and I did a fantastic job as the news stand lead when I covered that for a while, too. I just don't want to be a head cashier or cashier, in general. Ugh. And no cafe crap! (And I'll work in the music department as a last resort.)
Gah, now I'm thinking about all the stories I have from my days as a book-slave. I could go on for weeks. :p
By the way... why haven't you added me on Facebook, Mister? I'm a commenting fool over there. I'm quite talkative. (In a good way.) You're so mean to me. I'll even endure your Steelers hatred! *sniff, sniff* I get no love.
I added you; I just never spend any time at FB. Back when I reviewed movies all the time, yes. But nowadays..I change my status once a day and that's about it.
Oh yeah...if my reunion involved TRAVELING, it'd be a 100% pre-determined no.
