All the online dating sites are full of older people, usually post-divorce, or younger people with serious flaws. (Shut up, I'm allowed, I'm seriously flawed myself.) Not just, like, "Oh, look at this chick, she's 400 pounds" or "Hmm, this girl lists 'self-harm' as one of her interests..." but, like, a nice normal looking girl who, shockingly, doesn't put "clingy over-dependent stalkerish behaviors" or "I have three rooms in my four room apartment filled with porcelain dolls" on her profile.

Yeah, I'm basing those things on two chicks I dated in VA. INDEED.

Ahem. Meeting people isn't that hard, douche. Granted, I'm not the best person to rely on here since I have, like, two friends, but I'd like to point out that I prefer having two friends. Go someplace where you have fun, strike up a conversation with someone. Fuck, you work in a bookstore, dude, utilize it. And "crippling shyness" my ass... suck it up ( ... )

MeetUp isn't a Dating site, fool. It's just a place divided into groups for people to get together. FOR INSTANCE, I'm in a Writer's group and a BoardGames group and an Anime group.

Dude, it equates. When someone joins a "social" site, they are generally looking for a piece of ass. TRUE FACTS.

I've ALWAYS been shy. Seriously. Think back to our semester together at Pitt. How many new friends did I make?

I read your reviews, so bite me.

I'm sorry you got stood up. I guess she is a cunt? But seriously, you go out on dates ALOT. You must be really good at sweet talking.

I know, and I used to go YGO it up every other week or so. But since I moved, there is no card store within 2 hours of me!

Apparently I don't go on THAT many dates. :-p

I miss when I lived closer than 2 hours away from a card store. I used to go every few Saturdays to one place to play Yugioh, but that's just not feasible to drive that far these days.

It's hard to find places in Western PA that are gathering points for comic book fans or manga nerds. I have had a few, but this county I live in now is less prone to those kinds of places.

It is good advice, though. Like I said...I check regularly to see if any card stores have opened up YGO tourneys in my area, but...not so much. :(

Okay, okay, so The Dark Knight, right, was goddamned amazing. And I'm even willing to admit that Aaron Eckhart was decent, but Heath Ledger was the best performance hands down. Fuck you. :) And like you said, it wasn't even the lines, though they were awesome, it was the hand motions and the licking the lips and the "You killed six of my friends" mouthing of the word "six" with the "wow" face and holy fuck that was awesome.

And this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I think Maggie Gyllenhal sucked like a vacuum. Seriously. Like... a lot. She was the only thing that made me twitch.
