Ken's crazy friend Jesse is always organizing something for the New England Electric Auto Assn, and today's was at a shopping center only 5 miles from our house. I agreed to bring the Leaf. I didn't want to hang out for hours (god it was boring just for 15-20 minutes at a time!) so I brought my bicycle and went for a 19 mile ride. Average 11.1, ( Read more... )

How about camping? A B&B?

I'm sure she'll have a fabulous time. I'm not a fan of long car rides either, but I've always felt the Smirkus was worth it.

You need reservations for campgrounds in Whites on a weekend too. Besides, if we're too tired to drive 4 hours, I'm sure we're too tired to set up a campsite! I figure going through Lebanon and White River Junction instead of down 93 will help with the motel prospects. I have a list of cheap motels I can call after I pick her up and we decide what we want.
