Having a bit of trouble finding fabric for Coronation dress. I have the wool for one, but I wanted something a little fancier for the court dress. I have some blue velveteen but I can't seem to find any pictures of 1520's to 1530's women wearing blue, particularly dark blue (the velveteen is nearly navy). Well, that was an interesting day.
David is feeling better than he did last night, less groggy but the pain seems to be worse. We will be taking the doctor's report in to the police some time today, I think.
His eyes are so pretty at the moment, all purple and blue with accents of dark red =P

I just remembered the dreams I had last night.
Someone I don't paticularly like was running an event. At a marae in Invercargil, and they only told people about it a week in advance.

I have patterned, cut out and edged corset. Will wander into town today to pick up hemp cord and some cotton sheeting. Hope to have channel size worked out and marked on to corset by end of day, so that I can sew them all tomorrow and start shoving the cord in at Seamsters ( Read more... )
