(no subject)
I return not quite triumphant.
The sewing managed to get done(ish) on time. I just need to add the guards to the hem and the front and neckline of the bodice. I also need to move the hook and eye tape so it doesn't gape and peak.
I didn't authorise, due to my hand going numb*. I spent the rest of the evening joyfully smacking it into tables and chairs. I also managed to catch it in the car door when I got home.
The food at the feast was quite nice, paticularly considering it was James first time cooking one. I could've done without the snarky comments coming from across the table.
My partlet was utterly fabulous and I am most pleased with it. I shall have to make another one.
Was absolutely shagged when I got home last night, and I didn't get much sleep so I have spent much of the day bumming round, which has been very pleasant.
I feel almost lost without something to sew. I shall have to remedy this, when I can use my hand again.
