I had a very random dream about a tiny little snake this morning.
He was trapped in my house and trying to leave by the front door.
I tried to help him, but he kept slithering away. He was so tiny I was worried about hurting him so the one time I did manage to pick him up he got away and hid under my stairs.

The thought that I've known someone for so much longer than I can reasonably explain.
The feeling that I've been through so much more with them than they remember.

Musings on a Lost Girl, a Dragon and a White Knight
The last thing I had to do to finalize the end was done today, with tears in my eyes.
Talking, joking over breakfast helped the healing start.
