So very, very pretty! Makes me want to take a business trip into the depths of the universe myself. XD Dang it, Rose. The more you refer to this 'Young Wizards' stuff, the more I feel pulled towards it. What is it, exactly?
What is it? Many business trips into the universe xD
Young Wizards is a series of young adult (and a few 'adult') books by Diane Duane; they're usually catagorised as fantasy but they often feel more like science fiction, especially when you get into the basis and practice of wizardry. It takes a very different approach to magic from the usual fantasy stuff- DD herself has said YW has been strongly influenced by Madeline L'Engle and A Wrinkle in Time, and to quote from the Wizard's Oath

*Is intrigued* Wow. Thanks for the info, Rose. I've got to check that out- always on the prowl for new books. >:) Soooo...... How's Topologica coming? I haven't done ANY fic writing, seeing as I've four thousand words deep into my Nanowrimo novel. It's tough. X( ...That's not to say that I wouldn't have time to READ certain fanfics if they were posted on the Internet. Particularly ones concerning Nine, Rose, doughnuts, the Tardis, and crazy physics. ...'cause I'd have time for those. *coughcough*
Haha, everyone's doing NaNo! Except for me. I figured I had enough on my plate as it is, but I'd do it next year- why is my senior year looking like the least stressful, compared to this?
And you're quite welcome; personally, I might start with High Wizardry, The Wizard's Dilemma or somewhere from the middle of the series (before TWD). Of course, all are highly recommended- I started out with Deep Wizardry, myself.
Finally got another snippet for Topologica; not sure how much else I'll get written. A chapter and a bit would be ideal, about now.
