I'm back from NYC. Nice weather there this time. Toys are pretty lame in general, but there are a couple cool new things. I saw a little gyroscopic style helicopter type toy that is part frisbee, part magic. It follows around a piece of putty that you can attach to your shirt collar, hand etc. Apparently Whoopi Goldberg was there, but I didn't ( Read more... ) -

Halloween parties.
There is something refreshing about spending half the night asleep in different places in a strange house waiting and hoping that your passed out friend will finally wake up, which would allow you to go home to your own actual, and considerably warmer (and not concrete) bed ( Read more... ) -

I moved to Bellevue.
Going to Germany next month for a trade show. Hanging with relatives in Norway afterwards.

SHOT Show
I went to the SHOT show in Orlando last week. 4 days of guns, bows, knives, dog stuff, and other outdoors accoutrements. Tons of sweet stuff to look at, from neat pistols to booth babes. Overall, a grueling 4 workdays, plus a setup and 2 days of travel. I get to do it again in SLC in a week ( Read more... ) -
