It was obvious, Loki would be able to find a way into Weapons Vault. After all Thor had managed it and Loki was obviously cleverer than Thor. Of course that had been why Loki had refused to help Thor when Thor decided to go there the first. Besides Father had only just brought them in there hardly any time ago, so it was not as if he might have actually learnt anything new ( ... )

When the conversation comes though Loki's hopes are dashed. There was no giant revelation about his purpose and really it's rather unfair for them not to tell him what it is. It would really be much easier to act as they wish him to if they actually told him what it was ( ... )

Awesome! Poor Loki and his tragic self esteem issues. I can't wait to see what will happen when this all comes out.

Op here. I was so happy to see this being filled. It's wonderful, in a very tragic way. You can sense that despite Loki's constant cold analysis of his family's behaviour, there is an underlying fear of the 'inevitable rejection' or whatever it is he expects to happen. It's brilliant stuff, can't wait for more.

Much to his surprise Loki actually enjoyed the trip to Alfheim. It's not that he's not used to enjoying anything exactly it's just that usually his pleasures are small, a new book, a successfully done spell. He certainly isn't used to enjoying society ( ... )

Poor Loki, he doesn't understand that Odin is unhappy with how Loki doesn't feel comfortable enough at home to act freely.
