Today's Robin scenes were good. Talked about missing Patrick, and even though he was off screen, he requested Robin to be at his surgery (meaning, he still wants her, HA!). Um, other than that, I barely pay attention to GH as it is. Ask empressearwig cuz she probably knows more.

It's evil software! But it's a business computer that doesn't even have solitaire on it (which, like, I need to survive), so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Hopefully my real computer will be home soon.

EEE! On the one hand, it's awesome that they're still doing events together, because it means that Scrubs is still being marketed as, you know, Scrubs. They don't do fan events at SSW though, do they? Because if so, I feel bad for Kim and Jason. They'll be on the receiving end of a lot of angsty fans.

SGA is just...grr. It makes me angry. Remember Reese from GH? She's guesting on the show, as if they're somehow purposely trying to absorb all the suck from GH and have it mutate into something even more awful.

At SSW last year, they did that who wants to be a soapstar together.

They're usually sitting right next to each other during GH cast talks and recappers have said that JT would come pick up KMc so they can walk together to the next event.

Honestly, yeah, I can see fan grumbling (and rightfully so, with that farce of a show that need not be mentioned) but really, when you see those two together, all rational thought flies out the window and the only thing you can do is go SQUEEEEEE.

I'm good. I'm in my third week of school. It's been great so far. I've been hanging out with the boy, which has also been great so far. I'm in a creative writing class and it's scary and daunting, but so so so good. I'm making preparations to start working on D&D and to finish up BTW. Because the last thing I want is for it all to be irrelevant.

I'm a little out of GH fandom loop. And with the board as well. I feel like I'm missing a lot of good fic, but I just don't have the patience to filter. I'm pretty much where you were at the beginning of the year, remember? Maybe I'll get empressearwig to post up a list of fic recs. I

The last thing I read in its entirety was Candie's "Close Quarters" -- I think that's what it's called. The one with that beautiful beautiful ending... filled with sadness and sorrow.

I've also started reading Jen's (buckingham's) new one, and some of Meg's one-shots. I scrolled around but can't really determine what's good out there anymore.

Damn, it has been too long since we've chatted. I didn't realize you were so far into the semester already. Eee! I'm very excited for your writing class, because anything that gets your creativity flowing is a good thing in my book. D&D!!!! You've just make my week with that! And, heh, BTW...we still have to finish that, don't we? I can't send you my stuff until my computer comes back, but that should hopefully be soon.

I'm pretty meh on GH entirely at the moment, fandom included. Like, I just don't have the energy to deal with the politics, which you still do even if you just want to read fic. So I shall focus on the entirely too much new TV I'm watching this week.

Fucking Reese is going to be on SGA? And Elizabeth is barely going to be on? Fuck it. I'm watching the four episodes Tori's in, and that's it. I just do not have the patience for that crap.

GH related stuff... When's the last time you watched? I know you were hating NS (which has gotten worse), but there's been some decent stuff on GH itself. In particular last Monday, when there were adorable twinkling J&R friendship scenes, and pissy, jealous Patrick. That rocked. But the period where Jason Thompson was on vacation is airing right now, so there won't be any actual scenes of them in awhile. Though, Nik and Robin share scenes on Thursday, if you're interested in seeing them.

I know, doesn't that make the suckiness suck more? I remember watching clips to catch up on storylines back when Kim came back, and Reese was just...ugh. Everything I saw her in was awful. I'm really glad she died during the train wreck. But, yeah, SGA is going to suck this year. Have you been reading all the cast and producer interviews on GW? If they have to try this damn hard to convince people that the season won't suck before it even begins, then chances are the season is going to really, really suck. At least Joe seemed to put up a fight to make Torri's exit have more emotional impact on the characters. His interview makes it sound like they originally just wrote her out and everybody went on with their lives like Sam Carter had always been there. GAH

Yeah, not watching NS is good. I've watched, and while I'm numb to it, it still sucks. I cannot believe they ever thought this was a good idea. Though, it might help to know that Jason and Kimberly were lied to and the show was never supposed to get this bad. It was supposed to end with Scrubs, and since it did well, they wanted to leave it open for a second season. Asshats.

Weren't they awesome? The Jason and Robin stuff was love, and jealous Patrick? Rocks. "Why is he here?" Hee!

Season premieres rock! So far I've liked K-Ville and Gossip Girl for new shows, and the only other one I think I'm watching is Private Practice.

Joe always seems really subdued and serious in interviews, but he read as borderline pissed about some of the "creative" direction the show is taking this season, which was pretty awesome. Especially after reading all the other interviews, because wow. I love that man, but he's not enough to make me watch.

NS just wasn't worth dealing with the trauma. I watched it for Scrubs and good hospital drama, and we were screwed on both counts. It was surprisingly easy to stop watching, which isn't a good sign. I'll hold out hope for a decent reunion on GH, but chances are it won't be what we want.

It's sad but true, the Robin/Jason stuff kicked ass. And it was good that Patrick was pissy and jealous, because at least he still cares (despite apparently sleeping with the pink demon I can't even deal. Just, no
