Wow, I guess I disappeared for a while, huh? Sorry about that, all. Between work and being sick (again, some more), life got away from me for a bit.
So how is everybody? I haven't spoken to anyone in ages (
lapiccolina, my dad's computer won't let me use any IM programs, including Meebo! It has a software block or something on it *cries*). And I'm pretty

Yes, I am directing most of my rage at the moment towards SGA. I haven't watched NS since the breakup, and I don't care to. I just can't deal with it. I did watch the Robin/Jason/Patrick scenes! I was home sick that day, and it sounded too good to ignore. I really did love their friendship, once upon a time. And given this show's history, any emotional support for Robin is good.
I'm honestly much more excited about season premieres than the trash on GH (and SGA, but I'm only watching Torri's eps. too, so whatever). I'm surprised by how much other TV I plan to watch this year.

Yeah, not watching NS is good. I've watched, and while I'm numb to it, it still sucks. I cannot believe they ever thought this was a good idea. Though, it might help to know that Jason and Kimberly were lied to and the show was never supposed to get this bad. It was supposed to end with Scrubs, and since it did well, they wanted to leave it open for a second season. Asshats.
Weren't they awesome? The Jason and Robin stuff was love, and jealous Patrick? Rocks. "Why is he here?" Hee!
Season premieres rock! So far I've liked K-Ville and Gossip Girl for new shows, and the only other one I think I'm watching is Private Practice.
Are you watching The Office yet?

NS just wasn't worth dealing with the trauma. I watched it for Scrubs and good hospital drama, and we were screwed on both counts. It was surprisingly easy to stop watching, which isn't a good sign. I'll hold out hope for a decent reunion on GH, but chances are it won't be what we want.
It's sad but true, the Robin/Jason stuff kicked ass. And it was good that Patrick was pissy and jealous, because at least he still cares (despite apparently sleeping with the pink demon I can't even deal. Just, no.
K-Ville has enough good that I'll give it a chance. I got into How I Met Your Mother over the summer, so there's that, plus Bones, Private Practice, Ugly Betty, Criminal Intent, and I'm going to try the Women's Murder Club (yes, stupid premise, but I love Angie Harmon). And yes, The Office! I'm not caught up by a long shot, but I've seen enough to know that it's too good to ignore any longer.

I totally feel you on NS. But on some level, it's so bad that it makes it possible to completely separate it from GH, and for me to hate a a character and couple on one show and like them on another.
That only happened on the show that doesn't count! It's not real. On GH, they broke up for real reasons, even if the scenes them selves sucked.
I'm so glad K-Ville didn't suck. I needed it to be decent, and it's at the very least watchable. Yay, that's so cool! The Office is just so watchable, and I can't wait for the premiere.

I suppose. But the flip side to thinking of them as different characters is that if I hate them, I don't feel guilty about not watching them. So with NS, it's just some show that I tried and didn't like, so giving it up was no big thing. If/when the time comes that I stop watching GH again, it'll actually make me sad.
Ack! I didn't mean to bring it up! let's just say their NS story sucks and leave it at that, yes?
I'm hoping K-Ville stays good. I have a soft spot for cop dramas, but Fox isn't always known for making smart programming decisions (Drive! *sobs* Damn you, Fox!), so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The Office is so great! I'm really glad I was browbeaten into convinced to start watching it. BTW, have you checked out Eureka yet?
