My vote is: do what you want to do. I'm supposed to go to an SCA event tomorrow and I really don't want to go....so I realized I shouldn't go then. I want to be home with my family instead.
I looked at the mapquest directions to the event, saw that there were 20 steps, and decided to take a me day. Went to the Apple Butter festival, saw powwow dances, ate apple butter pizza, came home and curled up under a blanket to read and take a nap, did a half-hour of housework, and watched "Aleeka and the Bee." Very laid-back day, and much needed.
On Friday I got back from errands too late to go to either 7:00 p.m. option, so I ended up watching Smallville, No Ordinary Family, and Haven. I did see the season premiere of Smallville on-line, and you're right - it was a great episode. Faux Lex was right about everything he said to Clark; Clark does have a superiority complex and his heroism frequently consists of Clark cleaning up the intergalactic mess that he caused. I wasn't happy to see Tess smacked around yet again, but was glad to see her back in action. And Lois' reaction to knowing Clark's secret was brilliant; she's protecting him from the knowledge that she knows he's protecting her by keeping his secret identity from her. "Gee,where is my pen? Here, pen..."
Glad it's been good. I enjoyed last night's Smallville, except for Clark's lame fake outfit. When I saw that jacket, all I could think of was "Thriller".

Yes! I was trying to figure out what was making me wince about the last scene, and you nailed it.
