Plans for this weekend - decisions, decisions
So, a lot going on this weekend. I have to decide what I'm going to do. Feel free to vote. :-)
Friday night
1. A collaborative storytelling art project at the art museum.
2. A university-wide get-together with other college professors at an Indian restaurant.
3. Stay home and watch Smallville. ;-)
I'm leaning towards #1.
Saturday
1. Attend an SCA baronial event an hour and a half away that has a bardic circle.
2. Attend the local Apple Butter festival with storytellers and 19th century reenactors.
I'm torn with this. #2 would be a lot more relaxing and might be more fun, but I also feel I should support the local bardic arts. I might be more excited about the SCA event if I hadn't gotten lost going to the last SCA event in that neck of the woods.
Sunday
1. Make garb day at a friend's house.
2. The aforementioned Apple Butter festival.
3. Local Harvest Festival sponsored by the New Moon Organic Co-op.
I'm thinking of going to garb day at noon, cutting out the material for a t-tunic, and then leaving early for the harvest festival at 4:00. I can always sew in front of TV at some point.
Definitely a busy weekend.
