I am back home from two amazing back-to-back camping events: Bardic Roundhouse and Summer Solstice at Wisteria. I am healed, rejuvenated, and inspired. Expect several longer posts after I've had time to unpack and plan for the first day of the class I'm teaching tomorrow.

I'm off to Bardic Roundhouse and Summer Solstice at Wisteria. See you after the Solstice. Don't blow up the internet while I'm gone.

I am now registered for both Summer Solstice at Wisteria and Pennsic, so I'll be getting in a fair amount of camping. Quite a change from last summer.

On Tuesday I will have my fifth mammogram (here in Oxford - the films will be forwarded to my oncologist in Columbus for my June 7th appointment.) I'm very nervous. As it was my baseline mammogram that caught my cancer five years ago, mammograms are never routine for me. On the other hand, if I pass it will be nice to achieve this milestone. I ( Read more... )
