So, yesterday i was offered and i accepted a new job. I'm going to be a Project Assistant/Network Assistant for a for-profit engineering firm. The start date will be the 19th of this month, my last day being the 16th. I'm very excited as it will be a significant bump in salary, and all the benefits i can handle. In today's Oregonian, right smack in the middle of the Commentary page, there's a great Op-Ed piece that is a surprise to see published in the O. This is a commentary page that has several Rich Lowry columns a week, all slanted conservative. So it's mildly amazing to see this.
