Front door? I've never seen that. Make sure they wipe their feet before you let them into the house. And for God's sake, don't eat any chicken when they're around.

I'm half expecting to find the mailman in cardiac arrest one of these days - he's a sub, and not all that with-it - sometimes he drops mail in the slot three different times on the same day, like he keeps finding stuff. I'm guessing Mama Robin could easily startle the bejeezus outta him.

Maybe I should hang a "No birds allowed" sign in the foyer.

Good to hear from you!

That is just so gorgeous. How lucky you are to have them choose to nest there! Please do share a picture when the little ones hatch!

A third egg was added today, so I think we'll most likely get to see peeps!

Oh boy - Momma has her hands full with that location. Maybe they will be hatched next week? How long do they stay eggs?

Closer and closer - one more meeting tomorrow morning and I am free. See ya soon now.

From past experience, I think they'll be eggs for about two weeks, so you'll see eggs - we're up to three now!

We love feeding/watching birds...we're such homebodies, and it brings us great pleasure. Here's a post with photos from a few years ago: http://nodressrehersal.livejournal.com/57977.html
We thought our activity would discourage the wreath nest and she'd relocate to the hanging baskets like before. We got those today, but with three eggs in the current nest, I'm almost positive they won't move now.
