I don't like it when banner ads detect my IP address and use it to show me pictures of sexy singles in Janesville. No matter how many times I see this gimmick it never fails to unsettle me for a second and usually the singles are not that sexy.

I just spent about eight hours in the printmaking studio hacking out my assignment for tomorrow. The finished product is an edition of five woodcut prints depicting a poblano pepper with curled-up infants where seeds would normally be (genius!!). It is Christmas morning and I've finally accepted that the last of the presents I ordered online probably aren't going to make it in time. I can still deliver a gift to the internet on time though and that is the mix cd of inoffensive xmas xlassics that will be playing in the background as my parents and brother open their lovingly-wrapped IOUs.
