This position essentially grew from the responsibilites I took on for myself and initiatives that I implemented. I've been the official newbie trainer for 2 years now, making it absolutely clear to management that if a trainer position became available to work with all the employees of the desk that I would be interested. My time, patience, and persistance have paid off. I began in the new role this past monday and I already have a completely different outlook on life. I'm not just a phone monkey any more; I now have the freedom to express my creativity and take most any measure that I see necessary to the betterment of the team. Looks like 2006 is going to be a fun year. Life is good.

It really does bode well for our team. We've needed someone to fill that void for a loooong time and Erik is definitely the man for the job!
