Subject: New Assignment for Erik Abrams
Team,
As stated in a previous email, one of the two major areas we are focusing on at the Houston Service Desk for 2006 is quality.
The first step in this drive for quality is to formalize our process of bringing in new Systems Analyst.
Erik Abrams will be moving into a new role that will be dedicated to training new Systems Analyst.
Erik has done a fantastic job of training new Systems Analyst for the Oil and Gas sector. I have decided to make this
role a full time position to further develop new Systems Analyst prior to them reporting to a Team Lead.
Once the new Systems Analyst is proven sufficient in our processes, tools and knowledge of client environment, they will be moved to a Team
and assigned to a Team Lead. By removing the work load from the Team Leads to handle/train new Systems Analyst, the Team Leads can concentrate
more time on quality initiatives such as reviewing KPI reports and proactively addressing issues such as ticket miscoding and incorrect routing.
Erik has been with the Houston Service Desk since April 2002 and has been a leader in the Oil and Gas sector. Erik will begin transitioning into his new role over the next few weeks.
Please join me in congratulating Erik on his new role.
