It was a simpler, stupider, time. These remind me of an old book I read, I think about two sisters who enjoyed a little detectoring. I don't remember if it was part of another kids' detective series. They went to an auction with five dollars and bid it all on a valuable doll that they needed for their mystery. Five dollars! Golly gee!
I would certainly like to see the next installment. Until then, I'll be on the edge of my seat!
