The hospital tour is coming up on Thursdays rewatch.   Luke and Reid are very couply in their irritation with each other, and Luke has that  "What the hell is up with you today?" attitude towards his apparent boyfriend.  Then when Luke finds out about the ultimatum, he's all, "How could you do this to me?  I took a chance on you...blah, blah, blah

Reid's reply to that makes me just die and melt and GUH! He says, "I'm glad you did." Guh guh guh. Just something about the line delivery and the confusion on his face and everything about it.

Anyway, um, yeah. Probably should've saved that for the rewatch.

I look forward to what other people have to say about this. I definitely think they went on another "date" of some kind, made-out a bit, and made future plans for getting together. And I think they talked on the phone. And met for coffee. And Luke invited him over for chess and groping. And mmmmmmm.

*swoons* I don't see a lot of this in fics, where they just talk on the phone when they're each in their own homes--you know, each lying in bed with big smiles on their faces as they talk about everything til like 3 in the morning. But yeah, they totally talked on the phone a lot.

On Saturday, Reid got called in for emergency surgery. It went extremely well. Reid was on a post surgery high when he and Luke went out to dinner that evening. He was literally buzzing with satisfaction. Luke wanted to know what surgery was like for Reid. Luke smiled proudly as Reid explained how he felt during surgery...how it fulfilled him like nothing else...how everything else fell away...how it consumed him when he was in there and how it could leave him exhausted but exhilarated all at the same time. "It's better than sex," he only half joked. Luke leaned in and looked at Reid across the table. "That's because you haven't had sex with ME yet, Dr. Oliver," Luke said, trying his hardest not to smile. Reid laughed. "You suck, Snyder
