Weird workplace injuries

I quite often sit cross-legged at my computer at work, but of course that means sometimes my foot goes to sleep. Which it did yesterday. Which I didn't realize until I jumped up suddenly, and totally was unable to support any weight on my foot, which meant it bent up underneath me in a rather awkward way, leaving me to hop back to my desk until I ( Read more... )

I hear you on the uncoordinated thing - I once gave myself a major concussion cleaning out the fridge. So sympathies from a fellow klutz!

Oh god yes. Window shutters, shop signs, kitchen cupboard doors. Things my head has nit with considerable velocity are these.

It's a 9 week program to get you from the coach to running 5km. It sort of forces you in a structured way to go slowly at the beginning so that you build up real endurance, and it really does seem to be working for me.

I do the same thing by sitting cross legged at work. I hate it when I stand up and fall down as my ankle will not hold my weight (weak ankles anyway) I usually end up face first on my desk or the floor :/
