Oh, I definitely love anything that has to do with the Adama family. But I guess you can consider hurt/comfort a secret pleasure of mine.
*whispers* I particularly love near death experiences and amnesia. The biggest the hurt, the biggest the comfort, I guess. I love the potential for meaninful insights and realizations that such desperate moments have, you know. In moments like these you realize that the "one day" you keep postponing the things you really want to may never come, and it really forces you to face things you normally wouldn't. And I love the blank slate amnesia provides. Which parts of you are really you and which parts are a result of your experiences. And the angst of those around you? Of course, there's always the risk that such stories will be overly sappy or melodramatic, but when done properly... I do love them. ;)
Ship to Ship by Brynnmck is my favorite friendship fic! It's a series of phone calls between Lee and Kara when she's on Galactica and he's on the Pegasus. Really sweet, excellent banter, and everything brynn writes is fantastic (so read all the rest of her stuff too!)
