Le long Weekend and Thor
What a holiday weekend! Everything seem to get moved around from shopping to going to the movies. Finally got new desk chairs from Staples instead of Ikea as there were the same price (5 minute walk vs 1.5 hr TTC trek) - put them together in about 30 minutes \o/. Have screwdriver will build! A bbq with amdisa and lady__croft where we took a side trip to Future Shop

As for Thor..it was a decent movie. I kept getting Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black though - same kind of fascination yet disassociation with 'earth' culture. I was just happy to go to the theatre and watch a movie for a change. Can't wait to see Pirates.
You know Natalie Portman, come to think of it, remember how dreadful she was in Star Wars with Hayden Christianson? So maybe it wasn't just George Lucas' crap romance dialogue? Naww, on second though I still blame George Lucas for that.
