Sorry for the absentee posts.....been busy esp. with school. Things are going well there so I'm happy. There is so much up in the air for the next few months I don't know if I should get excited about the potential to be or to just be mellow about the possibilities.

This afternoon I went to see the movie Mama produced by one of my fav directors Guillermo Del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth). Mama is about two little girls feral, lost, alone in the woods for 5 years are found 5 years later by their uncle. Went out shopping....looking for fall shoes/boots....wow couldn't believe how cheaply manufactured these were and the prices are all over the place as in same brand but depending on store ranging from $60 to over $200. You can clearly see the inferior quality of the leather etc....ended up buying buying the Indiana Jones movies - complete set on ( Read more... )

Another year of going to the Canadian National Exhibition!

So much fun.....so much shopping! Or maybe not that much shopping this year...I was frugal this year.....ended up purchasing 2 paris of Jeggings (yup get over it) full blue and cropped white for $20. If you had said to me that when shopping today for Dani's wedding reception dress that I would buy a) a short formal dress that had pink in it and b) slingback kitten heals - I would have said you were crazy but ya that's what I bought O_O. I was looking for a long dress and simple flats....idk.

Went to see the A Game of Thrones exhibit this afternoon with lady__croft. We weren't allowed to take pictures :( :( :(

Used up my last vacation day to go shopping at Yorkdale today with lady__croft. It was fabulous and I got to visit my fav store BILLABONG. I wish there was one downtown but nearest we have to it is Boathouse which isn’t the same in terms of style but they do carry some of the same labels. Decided to go shopping...needed some winter wear as I have mostly summer stuff....purchased sweaters in fuchsia, mint green (Old Navy), and aqua blue (Joe Fresh), brown pants (RW)...

Plus I had the most delicious organic beef hamburger YUMMY!!!!

Weekend was fun....went shopping at the EC.....got a couple of wraps at Old Navy and did some browsing around Indigo and WBB bookstores and bought scrub (ya I know I didn't make my own this time) at H2O and also hit the Apple Store to have them look at my ipod that lady__croft got me for Xmas and only set up in July (ya I know don't say it) but it wasn't ( Read more... )

Spent a fabulous day at the CNE....we go every year and it's fabulous. Spending time with lady__croft and lots and lots of shopping! Yes I think this year was my 'retail therapy' year.
