^^;; I still have the impression that the whole Ryuuki/Shuurei is only in the anime version (until I read Hakkou endings..) But then again, don't you think that there is something more to it, because Ryuuki is wearing his (usual) royal outfit, while Shuurei is in her commoner outfit? (not even in her officer uniform, nor in her kisaki costume..)

i'm kinda confused...In the novel, Ryuuki, Yuushun and the others know that Ouki is targetting the throne??? (i thought only Ouki and Son Ryouou were the ones who decided that....)

Up to Hakkou, there's no statement that Yuushun and the others know that, so I assumed that that part will be covered in the next volume of the novel (again, this is merely my assumption, I don't have any access to the serialization in magazine so I can't be sure.. have to wait for, at least, until the new novel come out). FYI, Ryuuki and Yuushun conversation, the morning court, and the archives scene aren't included in Hakkou.. so I'm just guessing here ^^;;

..CMIIW, but.. before being released into novel book, I have the impression that every chapter in a book is published in a magazine first? (and I suppose it's the Beans, along with ShouMyou, YasaRyuu etc..?)

I wonder if Yuushun gave Ryuuki the ultimatum idea, considering it's how Sai Rin won him over. ^^

..hmm.. there's no explanation until Hakkou ends.. but there is a possibility (IMO, Ryuuki better off listen to Yuushun's advice rather than Shou-taishi, regarding how to win a woman's heart ^^;; )

Especially since Shou's main goal is making Ryuuki fall flat on his face in terms of romantic endeavors. ;-) Yuushun certainly seems much safer. Huh, Sai Rin gave Yuushun a time limit, did she? Well, those two are certainly a good model for Ryuuki and Shuurei, since they made their love work despite conflicting obligations . . .

Oh no...it's really the end! I'm a little sad...even though I knew how it was going to end.... :( I hope there is a 3rd season! I can't wait til May when the new novels come out!

Thank you for this screencaps. I so wonder what´s going to be in the new novel. But as I see it, I don´t see much of a future for Ryuuki and Shuurei... I like Ryuuki, he´s grown so much as the emperor and matured, yay!
